Raise Robotics reports construction work across 10 projects
Across 10 projects in eight states, Raise Robotics says its robots have worked on building exteriors at active construction sites. The company reports more than 4,528 robot-hours with zero safety incidents. Its deployment lead also published a peer-reviewed framework for deciding whether failures in the field call for an engineering change or an operator procedure, drawing on problems such as compounding equipment tolerances.

H Company releases downloadable agents that work across apps
Developers can download and run H Company's Holo4 27B and 35B-A3B agents and Holotron4 Nano, or access them through an API. H Company says a single Holo4 model can move among on-screen controls, code, MCP tools (standard connections to other software) and APIs to work across applications. It also published the agents' steps behind its public test scores. On the OSWorld 2.0 long-workflow test, H Company reports 61.7% for Holo4 27B, compared with 81.8% for Claude Opus 5.5.

IBM and Marist deploy mainframe for AI research
Students and researchers at Marist University can develop and test AI applications on an IBM z17 mainframe deployed through a new Innovation Incubator. IBM and the university launched the incubator with access to IBM expertise and on-chip AI hardware used in enterprise mainframes. Initial projects focus on business, financial management and civic engagement.

Qualcomm adds 1-bit AI model support to wearable chips
Qualcomm says its Snapdragon AR1 and AR1+ platforms and newly launched Sound Elite Gen 2 support 1-bit AI models, meaning each model weight uses one bit of memory. Qualcomm says those weights can require one-eighth the memory of 8-bit weights, which could help glasses and earbuds handle AI work within their memory and power limits. The company says its work with PrismML helps retain accuracy; Sound Elite Gen 2 also includes Wi-Fi 6E for cloud-connected audio devices.

AutoTrust releases downloadable model for probability-based decisions
Developers can download AutoTrust's JEV-27B to test a model that assigns probabilities to choices in automated decisions. It has a fast path for those decisions and another for generating text. Its model card reports 90.3% top-choice agreement with the TypeSafe Jev 1.13 teacher model on its test set and 78% pass@1 on HumanEval, meaning it solved that share of coding problems on the first attempt.
